No this is not a technical article. I just wanted to say some things and so I’m writing these lines. I’m now for over 10 years in several communities, I wrote articles and I worked on several projects. When you are a software developer you often want to share your experience, your progress, your problems on several projects etc. The only thing you don’t have is the time for setting up a website to share your thoughts. Talking for me personally I loved those .plan updates which you can find on all the sites. Unforgotten the .plan updates from Tim Willits refering to the release of Quake 2 on BluesNews.
It took me over 10 years wanting to write everything down which runs through my mind and so this blog was born. Of course I’m new to blogs and my english is not that good and I still don’t know what a blogroll is but I do my best.
So a big thanks and all the kudos go to the guys who develop this BlogEngine.NET. It makes it so easy to set it up and get it to run that it’s big fun to write your articles. This guys did and do a really great job. Ok I love ASP.NET and I tryied out some of the free blog engines (I also tried non-ASP.NET blog engines) but I soon decided to use BlogEngine.NET since this was easy to implement, has many features (sadly I don’t use all) and they have an incredible forum.
Try it, install it, write and love it. To all of those of you who want to run your own blog and don’t want to loose much time on installing and configuring then BlogEngine.NET is for you.
