Nobody is perfect neither am I. Yesterday the update v1.2 was certified and published successfully on Windows Phone marketplace. This update contains the following changes/fixes:
- various performance improvements on loading lists
- various bug fixes
- added help page to explain details on the settings and the Steam profile and password handling in Steam Center
- ad is showing properly. I forgot to change that
At this point I once again want to point out that the chat feature is optional. That means you don’t have to enter your Steam password in the settings menu. You still will be able to use the app with all the features except the chat. In addition I want to mention that if you choose to enter your password, it will be saved ecrypted in the local application storage so no other app has access than Steam Center. Every time you choose to disable the chat feature the password file will be deleted. When login in into Steam for using chat, Steam Center communicates over https. The password is only used when you decide to chat!
For your information: Today we submitted another update which fixes some more bugs and issues people are facing. Thanks for pointing this points out. The list of changes will be published here as soon as the update was certified by Microsoft.
